Maintenance method of spark direct reading spectrometer

The spark direct reading spectrometer is a precision instrument combining light and electricity. In the daily analysis, the direct reading spectrometer should be maintained and maintained according to the following requirements and methods.
1. Clean up the spark table
Open the spark plate cover and clean the residue (sediment) in the spark table with a soft brush, then cover the spark plate cover and purge with a large flow of argon for more than 2 minutes. The spark table is the position of the spectrometer that produces the emission spectrum. Some of the performance indicators here determine the quality of the spectral line. If it is not cleaned in time, it may cause a short circuit between the electrode and the spark table. For safety reasons, make sure the light source switch is off before cleaning. Loosen the four knurled screws on the spark plate and remove the platen and gasket or ring. Carefully remove the quartz sleeve and quartz spacer. This allows the inside of the spark table to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. After cleaning, install the platen and fix the electrode in the middle with the center gauge. After the four screws are tightened, turn the pole gauge back up to adjust the distance between the electrode and the spark table. Turn on the light source switch and click the flush button in the menu to flush the entire argon circuit for 2-3 minutes to flush the incoming air. To completely clean the spark table, first make sure that the upper part is cleaned as described above. Then disconnect the lower high voltage cable and use the inner hexagonal wrench of the instrument to remove the lower pin and remove the lower part. With the four thumb screws, gently remove the bottom plate made of insulating material. Use the inner hexagonal wrench to turn the pin from the hole of the fixed electrode to the appropriate position, and turn the copper rod of the fixed electrode up or down. The white nylon sleeve in the middle of the spark table is gently shaken out and you will find it dirty and clean the spark table before each shift.
2, electrode maintenance
Use the electrode brush to clean the electrode. When used frequently, the tip of the electrode is blunt, and the electrode tip needs to be changed. Be careful to adjust the position and height of the electrode with extreme specifications. Brush the electrode after each excitation.
3, cleaning the condenser
Gently wipe the lens with absorbent cotton dipped in absolute ethanol. If the lens has a substance, soak it in acetone or absolute ethanol for 15 minutes and then wipe it. Finally, dry it with an ear wash. Be careful not to scratch. When the light intensity is lowered, it is best to do it once a month.
4. Correct the position of the incident slit - optical path correction (stroke)
Rotate the wheel hub from the original position, turn left 200 squares, turn right 200 squares, and measure the light intensity value every 30 to 50 grids. The sample required to be excited is a high content of the matrix. For example, if iron is used, pure copper iron is used as an excitation sample for tracing. The optical path correction of the channel type spectrometer is preferably traced once a month. No trace is required in a full-spectrum spectrometer. Because the full-spectrum spectrometer can accept the full-spectrum spectrum, the influence of environmental factors on the optical path can be corrected from the software to ensure the complete fixation of the optical path.
5, cleaning the exhaust gas filtration system
Part of the dust generated by the spark table after the sample is excited will be blown away by argon gas, and the tail gas pipe will be blackened. It takes a long time to clean up to ensure the smoothness and cleanness of the gas path. The method is to replace the exhaust pipe.
