SONICS Ultrasonic Cell Breaker Maintenance Information Overload The fuse protects the ultrasonic cell breaker when it is not used properly. If the fuse is broken, please proceed as follows:
1. Make sure the probe and / or the tip are securely fastened.
2. Replace the fuse.
3. Set the AMPLITUDE control to 100. For 70 and 100 watt models, turn the PULSE/CONTINUOUS switch to CONTINUOUS. Place the probe in the air (outside the sample) and the power meter reading should be less than 20 watts. If it exceeds 20 watts, set the AMPLITUDE control to OFF and remove the probe from the inverter.
4. Set the AMPLITUDE control to 100. If the power meter reading is less than 10 watts, either the probe is broken or it is detuned due to excessive cavitation and should be replaced. If the power meter reading is above 10 watts, if the converter is broken or the power supply is broken, please contact the service station.

2. The depth of the ultrasonic probe inserted into the solution: into the liquid surface 1/3 - 2 / 3 or so (insert too deep, affecting the efficiency of crushing). The probe is inserted in the center and cannot be attached to the wall;
3. Different probes use different ultrasound volumes:
13 mm probe: ultrasonic volume 10-250 ml;
6 mm probe: ultrasonic volume 5-50 ml;
3 mm probe: ultrasonic volume 1-10 ml;
4. Set the amplitude: button "AMPL":
13 mm probe: It is recommended to set the ultrasound attempt from 40% amplitude (maximum 100%);
6 mm probe: It is recommended to set the ultrasound attempt from 40% amplitude (maximum 75%);
3 mm probe: 30% amplitude (up to 40%) is recommended;
5. Set each ultrasonic time: button "PULSER". Pulse on (ultrasonic); Pulse off (pause);
6. Set the total ultrasonic time: button "TIMER", total time = each ultrasonic time × number of ultrasound;
7. Scrub the probe with alcohol after use;
8. The ultrasonic probe is suspended when not in use, and should not be immersed in the solution;
