1, install the nozzle
1 box- mounted nozzle: Insert the pipette vertically into the nozzle, press down slightly, use the power of the wrist to rotate left and right, and tighten the nozzle.
2 bag nozzles: Hold the pipette and nozzle separately in both hands, and rotate and tighten after installation.
Tips: When installing the nozzle, do not use tapping to install it. This operation may cause the pipette sleeve to break! For electric pipettes, the internal chip will be damaged!
2, correctly set the capacity value
Adjust the volume meter to set the volume of liquid to be removed. Depending on the model of the pipette, the digital color of the volume meter may be black or red.
3, prewash
After loading the nozzle, first draw the liquid and then drain the liquid back to the original container. Repeat three times.
Tips:
1 Why do you need to pre-wash first?
· A uniform liquid film is formed on the inner wall of the nozzle to ensure the accuracy and accuracy of the pipetting work, which makes the pipetting process extremely reproducible.
2 When do you want to prewash?
· When replacing a new nozzle;
· When increasing capacity;
· Pre-washing when taking organic solvents can avoid leakage.
4, aspirate
1 Press and hold the button to the first stop.
2 Hold the pipette vertically and immerse the nozzle in the sample.
3 Release the button slowly and smoothly, and draw on the liquid sample.
Tips: Different types of pipettes, the nozzle is immersed in liquid depth and waiting time is different.
5, draining
1 Attach the nozzle to the inner wall of the container and keep it inclined at 10°-40°.
2 Press the button smoothly to the first stop. Wait a second and then press the button to the second stop to drain the remaining liquid. While holding down the button, lift the pipette and wipe the nozzle against the inner wall of the container.
3 Release the button. Press the catapult button to go out and suck the nozzle.
6, placed
• After use, adjust the volume of the pipette to the maximum and hang vertically on the pipette holder.

1 When adjusting the capacity, if it is from big to small, you can adjust it to the desired capacity directly; if it is small to large, it is recommended to adjust it by a third of a turn and then adjust it back. This can make the spring completely open. Compact to ensure better accuracy.
2 For volatile liquids, we can use the reverse aspiration method: the second stop point draws the liquid, and the first stop point discharges the liquid.
3 The quality of the nozzle is good or bad, and the impact on the precision of pipetting can reach 50%, so it is necessary to use the nozzle of the regular brand. By wasting valuable reagents and samples for consumable savings, it's worth the loss.
